Helen Hampton

Helen attended East Ave School and Livermore High School, graduating in the class of 1967. In high school, she was involved in tennis, swim team, G.A.A. (Girls Athletic Assn.), Rally Club, Aquacade, AFS (American Field Service), Spanish Club, German Club, choir, and FBLA (Future Business Leaders). She also competed in tennis competitions at Almond Circle. After high school, she attended Lewis and Clark College and Frenso State University and became a teacher. In 1987 she moved to Portland, where she was a Spanish immersion and second grade teacher for 16 years. Survivors include daughters, Sara and Lisa Wood; parents, Bob & Dorothy Hampton; and sisters, Cherry Moore, Jeannie Hampton and Kathy Schjelderup.
