Jim Miltner
1969--1991
Jim Miltner was a star wrestler and soccer player at Livermore High School.
But "more importantly", writes classmate Kristin Waters,
"he was a true friend to everyone."
Jim was diagnosed with cancer during his freshman year.
He fought the disease through high school,
graduating in 1987, and went on to earn an A.A. degree from Las Positas Community College.
He died just a few weeks before his commencement ceremony.
Through it all, Jim's courage and dedication was an inspiration to his teammates and friends.
