Mrs Meamber began teaching in the Livermore schools in 1947. She had previously taught in Weed, McCloud, Macdoel, Montague, and Williams. She had two sons, Richard Meamber and Gerald Meamber, who attended school in Livermore. Mrs Meamber retired in 1959 after 32 years of teaching.
